This was a brand new carriage door installation project. Carriage garage doors, also known as barn-style garage doors are named after the time of the carriage house, where people would store their horse-drawn carriage. Back then these doors were made from wood, so that is very typical in today’s carriage door styles.  This particular carriage style garage door door was 16×7 size.
